Photography - What To Wear
Hard and fast rule: Wear clothing that really showcases your personality. It's all about planning, styling and comfort. Plan out 2-3 outfits, they'll help add variety to your session. Really invest some time in choosing a wardrobe for your shoot. I promise that you'll be much, much happier with the results. Don't be tempted to leave your session prep until the last minute. That will just suck the fun right out of the day! Also think of our time as less of smiling at the camera, and more of a fun photo session with a friend. Be prepared to smile, laugh, flirt and just have an all around good time! As always, please feel free to get in touch with me with any questions about options for colors and accessories, or just outfit questions in general. I looove talking wardrobe!
Women
- Wear anything that makes you feel fabulous, sexy and confident.
- Avoid tops and/or dresses with patterns or logos.
- Bring variety of looks - a casual look (blouse/jeans), a dress, etc...
- Avoid black or dark blues, they tend to wash out your pictures
- Choose fun, bright colors that look good on you.
- Wear shoes that you're comfortable doing some walking in.
- When in doubt, call or email me with your questions!
Men
- Solid tees/tops work best. As do any blues, greens, grays or whites.
- Bring things that you really like to wear, your "go-to" favorite pieces.
- Avoid clothes patterns or logos of any kind.
- Avoid black or dark blues, they tend to wash out your pictures
- One pair of bottoms (jeans are fine) will work great for all looks.
- Wear an undershirt so we can do quick changes as we go.
- When in doubt, call or email me with your questions!
